The majority of high traffic blogs have numerous authors writing for them. Unfortunately, many WordPress themes don’t accommodate authors in any way. In particular, the designs don’t allow you to give your authors some exposure, such as an author’s page.
I thought it would be good to show you ten good designs that are suitable for multi author blogs. These designs either link to a dedicated page that displays information about the author or they include author boxes at the bottom of articles to tell visitors more about the author (description, social media profiles, author’s website etc).
1. Teamster
Standard License: $70, Developer License: $150
Released last month by WooThemes, Teamster is one of the few WordPress designs that was created for blogs and magazines with multiple authors. Visitors can browse posts by author from the home page and there is a dedicated team page that displays information about each author.

2. Boulevard

A fantastic magazine design that comes packaged with a built-in review system, 7 custom widgets, 3 additionally supported post formats (videos, music & galleries) and an unlimited number of colour schemes. An author box is displayed prominently underneath all posts.

3. Seventeen
Regular License: $35
A beautiful WordPress theme that was designed using HTML5 and CSS3. An author box is displayed beside a social media voting area underneath blog posts. The box links to a unique author template page that displays information about the author and lists all of their previous posts.

Single License: $69
A great looking news/magazine theme from WPZoom that links to authors previous posts in the post meta area in the index and archives. An author box is placed underneath posts too.
6. WMag
Regular License: $33
A big and bold magazine design that offers an unlimited number of colour schemes, custom shortcodes for styling your content and 9 custom widgets. An author box has been incorporated into posts to give more exposure to writers.
7. Ampersand
Regular License: $33
A highly customisable blogging design that boasts 6 colour variations, 25 custom shortcodes, 9 custom widgets and 12 background textures. An author box is displayed prominently underneath posts.
8. MAGZine
Regular License: $33
A highly customisable news and magazine design that has a great featured post slider on the home page. It includes 6 WordPress menu areas, 2 colour schemes and a configurable header. There is also a unique author template page and a great looking author box underneath posts.
9. Writer
Regular License: $49
A beautiful blogging theme from ThemeFuse that comes with custom shortcodes to style your content and 4 different colour scheme. Each post displays a large author box underneath posts that links to the authors website and social media profiles.
10. Lifestyle
Regular License: $49
An online magazine design that is big, bold and colourful and features a beautiful featured post area on the home page. There are links to authors previous posts in archives and an author box underneath each post showcasing the authors website and social media profiles.
