Sugar FAQs – WordPress FAQ Management Plugin

Sugar FAQs is a premium FAQ management plugin from plugin developer Pippin Williamson.

The questions are listed in an accordion style using CSS3 however jQuery is used as a backup for those viewing your page using Internet Explorer. The plugin uses custom post types therefore adding new questions looks the same visually as adding any content to your WordPress site such as a post or page.

How to add Sugar FAQs to WordPress?

FAQ topics can be added and work in the same way as post categories. The plugin comes with its own FAQ submission form that allows visitors to submit new FAQs (the form comes with maths validation to reduce spam). Admins and editors can then review the question and change it from ‘pending review’ to ‘published’.

By default all questions are shown but the answers are hidden. If the user clicks on a question the menu scrolls down to reveal the answer to the FAQ.

The plugin comes with 9 different colour schemes and a topics widget for adding to your sidebar, footer or other widget ready area.

Create a Toggle View on FAQs section

In the plugin settings area you can change the colour scheme and width of your FAQs. Icons can be disabled too and you can enable ‘Single Open’ mode so that one FAQ closes whenever another one is opened and the order of FAQs can be sorted by descending or ascending order by title or post date.

A license for Sugar FAQs retails for only $12 from CodeCanyon. It’s very straight forward to use and the addition of an FAQ submission form makes it easy to build up an FAQ list through user submissions.
