Today I'm going to show you how you can schedule a post on WordPress so you can stay on top of your editorial calendar and never miss a post again

First, you head over to your WordPress dashboard. Let's say you want to schedule a post

So what you do is you click onto post and then you say add new post and it will lead you to the page where you can create a new post

So now what you do is you create your post and then you head over to post or document

You will see publish. Next to publish there's immediately. This is where you can schedule your post

So you click on to immediately. And then you'll see the drop-down calendar, and then you can choose the date and the time that you'd like to schedule your post

So let's say you would like to schedule your post for the 27th of June, Monday at 8 a.m

And then once you done you click on to schedule and that how you can schedule your post for future dates Also on the scheduling feature you can backlog dates and make it seem the post came out a few days ago instead of a future date

What you do is you go to publish. You'll see the drop-down calendar again

Then instead of putting a future date, you can put in like a past date

Let's say Monday the 13th and the time, you can say it's one

p.m. And all you do is click publish and that's how you schedule a backlog post

Make sure your time zone settings are correct when scheduling post. If you don't know how to do that

You can do the same thing with the pages. All you do is click on pages and then you say

add new page and you will basically do the same thing as you did with your post. You go to

publish click on immediately you choose the date you would like to schedule your post it says the 27th

8 a m and then you say schedule page and that's when your page will be published and that's it
